And the average asking price for an average duplex is $9.2 million, meaning the average home buyer might be paying over $15,000 for one unit if they’re willing to fork over more than $100,000.
If you’re looking to get a dup in Toronto with a great location, the city’s biggest cities, the GTA, are worth considering.
Toronto has the highest median home prices in Canada, and the city has the third-highest population density, making it an ideal place to buy a dup.
The average asking prices for a typical duplex unit in Toronto are $9,848, with an average of $14,000 on the open market.
